Just Mobile Design Competition is for designers to create the most attractive, smart - with new functionalities - and user friendly accessories, that will get international attention and sales and that will give the winning designer royalty of sales!

Just Mobile Design Competition is for designers who want to live a life with excitement, who make other people lives exciting.

You can be any design discipline. You can be an individual designer, a design house, a design department within companies or a design student. Just Mobile Design Competition 2011 is only open for European Entry.

We want an innovative Apple accessory with form, function and customer insights, a design with possibility to produce under current technology.

We are specialized in Aluminum and we really love this material, however, we are open to rubber and plastic for this design competition. And as we all know the greener the better.

The jury is the composed with experts in design, fashion, marketing and retailing fields, also including Mac expert and gadget expert. The jury will grant the prize to designs and concepts which fulfill the design criteria mentioned in the brief.

The jury will select 3 winning entries that will be awarded the design prize.

The design of first Prize winner be produced in Taiwan and will be entitled royalty. Royalty will be calculated on the basis of export Prize and the account will be settled every season.

The first Prize winner will get an Apple LED Cinema Display (27" flat panel) 

Second Prize: Mac Book Air. 

Third Prize: iPad 2

Just Mobile will also promote winning designers on all marketing materials such as poster, catalogues, advertisement, the winner will get the recognition she or he deserves!

Late submissions will not be admitted to the Awards.

Step 3 You will receive a confirmation email and a reference number

Step 4 Submit your work (pdf format) before deadline to design@just-mobile.com with your reference number

After 2011 31st July 24:00, the entry will be closed.

Standard Entry: Free of charge

Premium Package Entry: 99 Euro for Entry Fee, Just Mobile will send a valued pack (some Just Mobile products valued more than 99€ ), so you can touch and feel Just Mobile design objects for better brain storming.

Minimum three pages –

Page one for design and concept.

Page two for design details, material explanation.

Page three for a brief description of why your work meets the consumer needs and a verification that you have accepted the legal conditions. Texts shall be written in English.

You can participate in teams or as an individual, no limit to the number of entries. No limits for the number of submission.

All entrants are regarded as having a full understanding of the competition rules and being willing to comply with every rules.

8.1.The participants confirm that

8.1.1 the entrant is the sole owner of the work

8.1.2 the work has not been and will not be assigned or transferred

8.1.3 no licenses to the work have or will be granted

8.1.4 the work is and will remain free from any and all other encumbrances of whatever kind or nature.

8.1.5 The work is never published or exhibited.

8.2. By participating in the competition, all participants authorize Just Mobile and Creative Scandinavians to publish and exhibit all the designs (including images, concepts and texts, all data submitted) – waiving compensation – at exhibitions and events and/or to use them in any publications and communications. Any material used by Just Mobile, Creative Scandinavians and their business partners and shall carry the designer’s credit line. Just Mobile will have the right to apply minor change amendments without damaging the integrity of the artwork – i.e. add the Just Mobile logo and text, reframing, translation, changing colors, cutting the background or parts of it, etc.

8.3. Just Mobile and Creative Scandinavians are not liable for any infringement of intellectual or industrial property rights (trade marks, utility models, patents or similar rights) on the part of the entrant and will not become involved in copyright disputes or any violation against third-party rights

8.4. The entrant shall be liable for damages and any claims made by third parties, resulting from the infringement of property rights.

8.5. The jury has the final and binding decisions of the prize. The organizer reserves the right to amend the total number of winners in order to ensure the quality of competition.

8.6. Any moral and paternity right regarding the work sent in for application is designer’s property. However, the participant agrees to provide Just Mobile with the right of first refusal to the exclusive use of the design. This option is valid for 6 months after the competition will end. In the event that Just Mobile exercises the option to use the rights for production on an exclusive basis and without time limitations, The designer is entitled with three percent (3%) royalty after his/her design is produced by Just Mobile and reach markets.

The assignment and transfer shall include all methods and forms of use and exploitation, including any and all new technology and it shall not be limited in time or territory. Just Mobile may, in its sole discretion and without informing or consulting with the applicant, (i) change, alter, amend, add to, delete from and otherwise modify, including but not limited to, any and all cuts, edits, rearrangements and other alterations, additions and deletions, the works and (ii) assign and transfer or license the work.

8.7. In the event that a prize-winning entrant has been confirmed any infringement upon copyright or other relevant laws and regulations, or has been proved to be not an original work but a copy of another’s design, the organizer has the right to disqualify the entry and take back all prizes
